Vine Age: Approximately 20 years at the time.

Harvest: Manual selection of grapes. The harvest began on September 13 for the upper part of the vineyard and continued between September 17 and 21 for the central and lower parts.

Vinification: Grapes were handpicked and underwent careful selection before and after destemming, followed by gentle crushing. Each vineyard parcel was vinified separately. Fermentation occurred in both stainless steel and wooden vats, followed by maceration for 15–20 days. Malolactic fermentation took place in French oak barriques.

Maturation: The wine aged for 24 months in French oak barriques. The initial 12 months involved separate aging of different lots, which were then blended and returned to barriques for an additional 12 months. The wine underwent further bottle aging for 12 months before release.

Tasting Notes: The 2004 vintage exhibits a deep, rich color. Aromas of ripe plum and black cherry are complemented by floral and subtle toasted notes. On the palate, the wine is substantial and rich, with great density, guided by smooth, polished, and silky tannins. The flavors perceived on the nose return on the palate, leading to a long and persistent finish.
