Vinification: Fermentation occurred in a combination of concrete vats and Slavonian oak barrels using indigenous yeasts.

Maturation: The wine was aged in Slavonian oak barrels for 3 years, followed by extended bottle refinement before release.

Tasting Notes: The 2009 Brunello di Montalcino Annata is a beautiful wine laced with ethereal balsam tones, licorice, cola, dark fruit, and forest floor. It closes slowly and quietly with a surprising flurry of delicate floral notes that pop up at the end.

Alcohol Content: Approximately 13.5% ABV.

Serving Temperature: 16–18°C. It is recommended to decant the wine 4–6 hours before serving.
